Who it is for
The Center is dedicated to people who wish to address overweight or obesity through a structured clinical approach, based on scientific evidence and the work of a multidisciplinary team.
It is indicated for:
- patients with BMI ≥ 30, even in the absence of other conditions
- patients with BMI between 27 and 30 in the presence of at least one weight-related comorbidity
- arterial hypertension
- high cholesterol
- hepatic steatosis
- diabetes or glycemic alterations
An Integrated, Personalized Approach
IThe program is based on the integration of specialist medical assessment, personalized nutrition, and pharmacological support when indicated.
Based on the results, the necessary tests are prescribed to assess the metabolic profile, and realistic, personalized therapeutic goals are defined.

- possible prescription of pharmacological therapy with GLP-1 RA or GLP-1 RA and GIP agonist (semaglutide Wegovy®, tirzepatide Mounjaro®), according to shared clinical criteria
The initial dietetics consultation enables a complete assessment of health status through:
- clinical and dietary history
- measurement of weight, waist/hip circumference, and blood pressure
- BMI calculation
- assessment of body composition with bioelectrical impedance analysis
How the Program Works
The program is structured into clear, progressive steps:
1 – Booking of a first dietetics consultation via CUP or website
2 – First specialist visit, with assessment of eligibility for pharmacological therapy
3 – Completion of the indicated blood tests and instrumental examinations
4 – Follow-up visit:
- initiation of pharmacological therapy, with assistance for the first administration
- delivery and explanation of the personalized nutrition plan
- follow-up planning
5 – Medical–nutritional follow-up every 4 weeks, to:
- monitor weight and body composition
- assess adherence to the nutrition plan
- support lifestyle change
- manage any side effects
- optimize medication dosage
