How to perform breast self-examination
The first form of treatment is always prevention: checking your breasts for even small changes is the first step to avoid serious risks. Regular examination of your breasts allows you to become familiar with their normal appearance and to notice any changes in relation to the usual features. Breast self-examination should be performed periodically 4-5 days after the end of your menstrual cycle. It is also essential to perform specific check-ups such as mammography and breast ultrasound at least once a year.
